Here are some examples drawn from the everyday experiences of students, faculty, and staff. You don’t need to limit yourself to UChicago-specific ideas (but we’ll gladly accept those too!).

Students, faculty, staff, and now alums can submit their app ideas for development year round.
And we do the heavy lifting (programming, that is) to build your idea in the meantime.
How do I win part of $10,000 in prizes?
If you're accepted and complete the requirements, we will build your app, which qualifies you for the end-of-year showdown (similar to our current App Challenge Finals). During the showdown you will compete with all other teams from that academic year. We’ve got $10,000 in prizes. Your idea could win you some serious cash!
This is a little different than before. Why the change?
We’ve been doing this for 5 years. When we started, there were a limited number of opportunities around the University for faculty students staff to get their good ideas built. In those 5 years, however, a number of "good ideas" programs have cropped up, giving us a wealth of ideas all year round, and of varying sizes. So rather than make you wait all year to build 3 apps, we’re doing rolling admissions so we can build as many as possible.
ideas and counting!
